My client, a global leader in the financial services sector (operating at the cutting edge of insurance technology), is looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join their progressive and growing engineering function.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape the future of cloud infrastructure across a multi-product platform, enabling development teams to ship faster, more securely and with greater confidence.
You’ll join a team focused on delivering automation-first, cloud-native solutions with a modern DevOps mindset, working with Azure and best-in-class tooling across the stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain secure, automated Azure infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Bicep, etc.)
- Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines using YAML and Scripting (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Collaborate with developers to improve SDLC performance and developer experience
- Champion platform reliability, observability and security across the environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, supporting high-availability systems
- Contribute to platform governance and help define best practices
Tech & Environment:
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Enterprise-scale)
- IaC: Terraform, Bicep, Ansible
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub, YAML Pipelines
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI
- Containers (Desirable): Kubernetes, Helm
- Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, custom observability tooling
You Should Have:
- Proven experience working in cloud engineering roles within complex environments
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, and identity
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools
- Experience with DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD
- Confident in command-line tooling and Scripting for infrastructure tasks
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, security and product teams
