This large international forex settlements business are embarking on an ambitious transformation project, with stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic. They are currently looking for a Director of Cybersecurity to focus on leading and enforcing security assurance, remediation, and monitoring across the group. This regulated financial business is known for its unique settlements system and boasts an impressive volume of trades occurring daily
Your profile: Director of Cyber Security
The ideal applicant for the Director of Cyber Security will have:
- Demonstrable Leadership experiences, ideally in a financial services sector and be able to manage international teams and stakeholders
- A positive attitude to change, always looking for ways to automate existing processes, streamline and simplify complexity, and incorporate new ideas and capabilities to enhance security posture and make the team stronger and better
- Considerable experience in cybersecurity, with notable experience in a senior or managerial role focused on security policy, standards, controls testing, governance, and compliance
- Mastery experience of how security controls are implemented, their effectiveness, and alignment with security policy, standards and NIST best practice guidelines
- Strong ability to consult with control owners on their security remediation implementations and provide insights on evidence provision required to be compliant
Your background: Director of Cyber Security
The ideal candidate for the Director of Cyber Security will have:
- Experience in a similar role with both leadership and security assurance knowledge
- A high level of integrity and ethical judgement suitable for handling sensitive information
- Familiarity with cloud security controls and securing hybrid IT environments
- Strong experience of working in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident management practices
- Evidence of working in the Financial Service Industry preferred, but not essential
