Up to £550 per day (outside IR35)
On behalf of a growing insurance business undergoing significant transformation, including a rebrand and associated system change initiatives. I am seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering these projects, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
This role is suited to a confident self-starter with a strong background in technical delivery, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a solid grounding in core business analysis disciplines. Experience working in agile, product-centric environments is essential.
The Business are pleased to offer this role on a remote working basis with occasional travel to their City of London based offices required, therefore you must be within commutable distance of London.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across rebrand and system change initiatives
- Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques
- Work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and technical architects to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Support rebrand-related change, ensuring impacts to systems, processes, data, and customer journeys are fully understood and managed
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and decision-making
- Act as a key interface between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately
- Produce high-quality documentation including user stories, process flows, data mappings, impact assessments, and acceptance criteria
- Support agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and showcases
- Assist with testing activities, including UAT support, defect triage, and validation of delivered solutions
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement throughout delivery
- Ensure a high level of attention to detail across all analysis outputs and delivery artefacts.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a hands-on Business Analyst delivering change initiatives
- Strong background in technical delivery, working closely with development and architecture teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong core business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and documentation
- Experience working in an agile, product-centric environment
- Confident self-starter, able to work independently in a predominantly remote setting
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable:
- Experience within insurance or wider financial services
- Previous involvement in rebrand or brand transformation projects
- Experience working on system change related to customer-facing platforms, policy administration, or digital products
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven environments.
What they can offer:
- Opportunity to work on high-impact transformation initiatives within a growing insurance business
- Predominantly remote working with occasional travel to London
- Collaborative, agile, and delivery-focused culture
- Chance to influence both business and technology outcomes during a period of significant change.
