An impressive global media company is looking to hire a Identity Access Engineer to take ownership of their identity and access program . The successful candidate will stabilise the environment and document all processes as this business gets ready to move the cloud. This business is going through a big technology transformation programme that is estimated to take 3 -5 years. The successful candidate for this role will be instrumental in helping design the roadmap and strategy for the cloud migration from an identity perspective.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful Identity Access Engineer will:
- Audit and stabilise current integrations across Quest, HR (Workday), and Active Directory to eliminate sync failures and single-point-of-failure risks .
- Implement quick-win fixes to restore reliable user-lifecycle workflows.
- Document existing identity access workflows, scripts and configurations
- Ensure all undocumented processes and information is included in documentation and playbooks
- Collaborate with HR to build fit for purpose processes for the HRteam to manage the JML process
- Create and implement automation within Active Directory for provisioning and deprovisioning
- Define a clear and structured roadmap for Identity Access Management for this function’s improvement
- Collaborate with the architecture teams to produce a phased migration to EntraID
Identity Access Engineer – Your Background
The ideal Identity Access Engineer will have:
- A technical degree in Information Systems or similar
- Extensive experience with Identity Access Management
- Hands on experience with Quest (or similar), Workday and integrations with HR and identity tooling
- Experience in Active directory, strong Scripting experience in PowerShell or similar
- Proven ability to reverse-engineer brittle code and undocumented workflows.
- Experience in writing playbooks
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
