On behalf of one of our key clients, Spencer Rose are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a financial services organisation going through a period of significant growth. The role gives someone with a proven track record the chance to manage medium to large projects based around digital transformation, delivering to time, budget and scope as part of the client’s growth. This is a Fixed Term Contract role for 12 months, with the potential for becoming permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Direct, manage and motivate the project team
- Manage projects to ensure they are running in line with PMO standards and contingency plans are in place to manage project risks
- Maintain an awareness of potential inter-dependencies with other projects and their impact, ensuring communication and reports are maintained to a high quality
- Provide analysis, forecasting, and plans for project, stage, and exceptions
- Manage communication with stakeholders
- Conduct project evaluation review to assess project management success.
Experience/Skills required:
- Experience working on projects of the following types: governance, infrastructure, mobile application
- Previous experience in the financial services sector
- Agile Foundation & Practitioner, Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner Qualified
- Previous experience working in a project manager or team leadership role
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
