On behalf of one of Spencer Rose’s key clients, we are seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer with experience supporting across Windows 10, Office 365, and a Mac environment. This global industry leader require someone who can offer customer driven professional service to ensure end user issues are taken from ticket to resolution smoothly and efficiently, recognising when to escalate these.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line support for offices for offices across various regions, both as part of BAU and when requested with project work
- Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu clients through a ticketing system, telephone and email
- Initiate and carry out remote support whilst keeping users up to date
- Manage internal asset database
- Troubleshoot basic tickets involving networking technology specifically LAN’s, WAN’s, Firewalls and Switches
Experience/Skills required:
- A minimum of 1 years experience in 1st line support
- Experience of Microsoft Operating Systems, MacOS, and Office 365
- Ability to follow procedures and to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Exposure to Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Ubuntu
