Are you a Software Developer looking for a ‘one of a kind’ contract opportunity? Would you like to work alongside talented Software Developers, getting various elements of exposure to the business on greenfield projects?
Our client, a leading company in the insurance industry, are seeking a Software Developer for an initial six-month contract that has scope to extend way beyond the initial period. This role will see you as part of a small development team, delivering high-performance software solutions, using a modern Microsoft tech stack. This is a unique opportunity to join a fantastic business that operate with excellence across all of their functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on greenfield projects, developing systems and services that act as a central hub for the business.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions using .NET and Azure.
- Optimize and manage large datasets, ensuring efficient data handling and performance.
- Develop and maintain Web APIs, ensuring seamless integration with business systems.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development with a strong focus on Azure.
- Proven experience working with large datasets and ORM frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Web API development and API technologies.
- Experience in financial services/insurance (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with SQL, Blazor, and message queues (advantageous).
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
