Spencer Rose are currently hiring on behalf of a leading Financial Services organisation who are currently on the look out for an experienced IT Security Specialist with File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) experience. Within this role, the IT Security Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and developing/implementing security policies in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
The IT Security Specialist will have the following responsibilities –
- Evaluating and recommending security technologies and tooling with the aim of enhancing their defence capabilities
- Providing thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategies for remediation
- Work collaboratively across IT functions and the wider business to integrate security measures
- Preparing detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status for senior management.
The IT Security Specialist will need to have the following skills/experience –
- Must have proven hands on experience as a Security professional with File Integrity Monitoring (FIM)
- Must have strong indepth knowledge of security frameworks like ISO27k, NIST or PCI-DSS
- Must have prior experience working in IT Security within one of the following industry sectors – Financial Services, Banking or Insurance
- Strong knowledge and experience across Risk Management
- Ideally hold certifications within CISSP, CISM or CEH
