Spencer Rose are seeking 2 x experienced Senior PMO’s to join a leading financial services organisation to support the delivery of a Cyber security change and Technical transformation portfolio. Initial 6 month contracts located in Central London.

These are exciting opportunities to play a key role in strengthening the governance, control, and successful execution of a wide range of cyber and risk-related initiatives. The successful candidates will work closely with senior stakeholders, programme managers, and technical teams to ensure the portfolio is managed effectively and in alignment with internal
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the Cyber Security RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) across the portfolio
- Implement and maintain strong governance, reporting, and assurance controls
- Facilitate portfolio planning, tracking, and reporting activities to ensure transparency and alignment to strategic priorities
- Support the delivery lifecycle by ensuring compliance with PMO standards and best practices
- Partner with Programme/Project Managers to provide challenge, oversight, and control of delivery progress
- Produce high-quality management information, dashboards, and board reporting packs
- Support resource and budget tracking in coordination with finance and HR teams
Experience/skills required:
- Extensive PMO experience, ideally in large, complex programmes or portfolios
- Strong RAID management skills, with proven ability to drive proactive mitigation and decision-making
- Deep knowledge of governance frameworks, control environments, and portfolio reporting
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment (eg banking/insurance), with a clear understanding of audit and compliance expectations
- Familiarity with cyber security projects or portfolios (desirable but not essential)
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and influencing across the organisation
- Proficient in tools such as PPM Pro, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and project portfolio management systems.
