Spencer Rose are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 6-month+ contract with our financial services/banking client located in Central London, supporting a range of business and technology change projects.
Start: ASAP – following the 2 week vetting process
Duration: 6+ month contract
Location: Central London – 2 days a week onsite
Day Rate: £600-620pd Inside IR35
The immediate priority is the onboarding of a new SaaS benefits system as part of a wider HR Transformation programme.
The successful candidate will have a strong blend of business and technology project delivery experience, ideally within a regulated financial services environment, with a particular emphasis on strict governance, formal project management methodology and robust risk management in line with FCA standards and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of business and technology change projects, including SaaS vendor onboarding.
- Apply formal project management methodologies, particularly Waterfall.
- Maintain robust governance, project plans, RAID logs and risk mitigation plans.
- Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies.
- Prepare and present project updates, risks and recommendations to project boards, securing decisions and direction.
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology and third-party suppliers.
Essential Experience
- Proven Project Management experience within financial services, banking or another regulated environment.
- Strong formal methodology, governance, RAID and risk management experience.
- Experience delivering technology and business change projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project board reporting skills.
- Experience managing SaaS implementations or third-party vendors is highly desirable.
