Security Engineer (AppSec)
Salary – Up to £85,000
Office working model: Fully remote with onsite work once per QTR in one of the following locations; London, Manchester, Durham and Blackpool
Spencer Rose is currently partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are on the lookout for an experienced Security Engineer to join their growing team. Within this role the Security Engineer will be influential in the design of their information security systems and solutions that will be implemented across their existing IT infrastructure.
The Security Engineer will have the following responsibilities –
- Define Information Security Requirements for IT projects and infrastructure
- Take responsibility in the co-ordination and assessment, documentation, and deployment of IDAM, DLP, tooling
- Influential in the co-ordination and assessment of their SDLC requirements
The Security Engineer will have the following background and experience –
- Must have a background working within an AWS or Azure cloud based environment (preferably both)
- Previous experience identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in applications
- Prior experience working as an AppSec engineer (highly desirable)
- Exposure to SDLC security assessments within engineering (highly desirable)
