Senior Cloud (AWS) Infrastructure Support Engineer
Salary – 85,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Hybrid working – x2 days per week (Central London)
Spencer Rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the look out for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer on a permanent basis. Within this role, the Senior Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer will play a key part in supporting their AWS Public cloud infrastructure environment and influencing the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
The Senior Cloud (AWS) Infrastructure Support Engineer will have the following responsibilities –
- Responsible for maintaining the reliability and security of their Cloud Hosted environments
- To ensure risks within their AWS cloud environment are documented and regularly reviewed
- You will be responsible for maintaining service resilience for all cloud hosted services, including backup and disaster recovery processes.
The Senior Cloud (AWS) Infrastructure Support Engineer will need to have the following skills/experience –
- Must have at least 3 years experience in supporting a AWS Cloud hosted environment
- Strong technical understanding of Terraform and Ansible
- Ideally have knowledge of at least 1 programming language like Python or similar
- Must have experience working within one of the following industries – Financial Services, Insurance or Banking
