Are you a Senior Data Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking, global FTSE 250 company that are going through a big digital transformation? Are you the person to help them build out their central data platform? Do you have strong experience with the Azure Data stack and Databricks?

My client, a global FTSE 250 broker are looking to grow their Data teams due to growth. The Senior Data Engineer will be modernising their data function. There are plenty of greenfield projects to work on using the very latest technology. If you enjoy working in a collaborative team, mentoring and guiding juniors, this could be an excellent fit.
The Senior Data Engineer will have
- Extensive experience with Databricks
- Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Data Vault for modelling
- Previous experience building new frameworks from scratch
- Python – advantageous
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for
- Building out a central data platform
- Bringing different data sources into one single source of truth
- Applying best practices into Databricks platform
- Ensuring accuracy of the data remains high
- Working with Databricks and Data Vault for modelling
This is a truly exciting time for the business, you’ll be working closely in cross functional teams, with plenty of new projects to work on. The Senior Data Engineer must have a true passion for all things data.
