Are you ready for the next step of your career? My client, a fast-growing company in the Internet of Things (IoT) space, are seeking a Senior Developer to join their dynamic and agile team. This role will involve contributing to the development and maintenance of the company’s core products, managing the migration of Legacy systems to Azure, & mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of core products in the IoT space, driving innovation and scalability.
- Oversee the migration of Legacy systems to Azure, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support rapid and stable deployment processes.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing clear and effective communication to drive projects forward.
- Participate in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure code quality through the application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other testing frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Expertise in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and Redis.
- Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Strong understanding and experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example in coding practices and collaborative working.
