Contract length – 3 months Plus
Day rate – 500 (Inside IR35)
Location – Central London (1 day per week in office)
Spencer Rose are urgently recruiting for a Senior UI Designer to join a highly creative publishing house, based in Central London, but offer flexible working. Within this role the Senior UI Designer will be working within the digital product team playing a crucial role in the design of a brand new suite of digital products utilized by their customer base worldwide.
The Senior UI Designer will have the following responsibilities –
- Operate as an influential lead in the creation and evolution of a new design system, which includes guidelines, patterns, and components, including data visualisations.
- Work collaboratively with the UX design team to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished UI designs
- Ensure that the design system adheres to accessibility best practices, making our products usable and enjoyable for all users.
The Senior UI designer will have the following skills –
- Extensive background experience with creating and maintaining design systems, style guides, and component libraries, including data visualisations
- Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement them in UI designs
