Hybrid working – x2 days per week in office (Central London)
Spencer Rose are partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are currently on the look out for an experience Vulnerability Management specialist. Within this role, the Vulnerability Management Specialist will be responsible for providing security advice and support across all IT projects as a Vulnerability Management SME as well as managing the vulnerability management platforms consisting of configuration, tuning and coverage.
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will have the following responsibilities –
- Operate at a SME level for Vulnerability Management within the organisations SecOps function
- Ensure vulnerability management efforts and documentation comply with industry standards and best practices eg – GDPR, SOC, NIST, ISO
- Responsible for developing and refining vulnerability management standard operating procedures and playbooks.
- Conduct vulnerability management risk assessments for all high impact projects
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will need to have the following skills/experience –
- Minimum of 5 plus years working within Vulnerability Management focused roles
- Strong understanding of Vulnerability Scanning tools & threat modelling
- Previous experience managing vulnerability management platforms
- Previously worked within insurance, banking or the financial services space (Ideally)
