On behalf of a fast-growing financial services organisation, I am a tech-savvy, dynamic and skilled Service Desk Analyst with a passion for helping others. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for their user base, providing exceptional support and ensuring seamless operation.
Due to the hybrid nature of the role, you will be required in their conveniently located City of London offices 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Accountability of day-to-day tickets for tech support incidents at service desk level.
- Ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Ability to maximise impact by prioritising and escalating issues as necessary to ensure critical problems are addressed promptly.
- Handle user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper setup and deactivation of accounts, access, and equipment.
- Provide new starter induction for new employees on IT systems and policies, ensuring an excellent experience.
- Provide support for office meeting room equipment, ensuring functionality and addressing any technical issues.
- Write and maintain support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and user manuals ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all users.
Experience/Skills required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a 1st line/Service Desk role.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS troubleshooting at Service Desk level.
- Experience of supporting office meeting room equipment.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or other relevant certifications are desirable.
- Basic experience in Azure application insights and log analytics would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication/collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
