Fantastic new opportunity to join one of our financial services clients.
The role will work in a team providing Solution Architecture services (SaaS) on a variety of internal and external IT delivery projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop the architecture of our cloud-based SaaS products, ensuring they meet the needs of our requirements and are scalable, reliable, and high-performance.
- Work closely with development/engineering teams to ensure that the architecture is implemented correctly and that the products are delivered on-time and to specification.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and platforms that can be used to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our SaaS products and their integration with the wider product ecosystem within the company.
- Collaborate with product manager and stakeholders to identify customer needs and design features that meet those needs while maintaining integration with the wider product ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain documentation of the cloud-based SaaS product architecture and implementation, including integration with the wider product ecosystem.
- Identify and address technical debt and other architectural issues to ensure the products remain maintainable and scalable over time.
Successful candidates will have 5 years plus of Solution Architecture – designing, integrating and managing end to end solutions for multi layered applications sitting on AWS.
Key knowledge, skills and experience required for the role:
- Experience with AWS Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a service; micro-services architecture and Cloud architecture models is required.
- Experience in designing, integrating and managing end-to-end solutions for multi layered applications on an AWS stack is required.
- AWS Solution Architect certification beneficial
- Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
- Continually be seeking to identify and recommend areas of improvement in our solutions, technology stacks, SDLC and development processes to make them better.
- Experience in systems and network design and development.
- Knowledge of networking, storage and server hardware configuration and design is preferred.
This role is a hybrid working model of 2 days per week in the office in Canary Wharf
