The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for
- Lead and manage complex software projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with business-wide stakeholders, including Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Leaders, to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
- Act as the main point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Report directly to the Chief Pricing Officer, providing strategic insights and updates on project progress and potential risks.
- Utilize your extensive insurance industry experience to drive projects that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement and promote best practices in project management, including Agile methodologies, to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
The Technical Project Manager must have
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Significant experience within the insurance industry is essential; applications without this experience will not be considered.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What my client offer:
