London – hybrid working model (2 days per week in office)
Spencer Rose are currently recruiting for a Threat Management Specialist with a leading Financial Services organisation, based in London, but offer flexible hybrid working. Within this role the Threat Management Specialist will be responsible for the management of security vulnerability and configuration compliance of their windows server and VMware estate.
The Threat Management Vulnerability Specialist will have the following responsibilities –
- Responsible for maintaining, developing and improving the vulnerability management service. Develop solutions and automated methods to reduce manual and repetitive tasks.
- Work alongside IT Security to ensure appropriate levels of engagement and focus are maintained
- Plan and implement technical changes without disruptions to the service.
The Threat Management Vulnerability Specialist will have the following skills/experience –
- Has experience of managing solutions, technologies and processes associated with vulnerability and configuration compliance in a Microsoft Windows/VMware environment.
- Has extensive experience working with SCCM to perform patching of Vulnerabilities
- Understanding of Unix & Linux Operating Systems to provide report analysis of Unix/Linux threats and vulnerabilities
- Previous experience with vulnerability scanning tools like – Qualys, Nessus, Snyk, App Scanner or Nexpose
